Tayler Grace

Tayler Grace is an indie folk singer-songwriter whose soulful voice and poignant lyrics have captivated audiences across the country. With a sound rooted in the raw intimacy of acoustic folk, Tayler weaves together evocative storytelling and gentle melodies, creating music that resonates deeply with the heart. Her debut EP, "Let You Go," was released in the summer of 2024 and features the talented Ukrainian songbird and pianist, Eric Yaremko.

The Western Thistles
Saturday July 12

Blending old-time roots with modern-day storytelling, The Western Thistles are an Edmonton folk duo known for their clawhammer banjo, rhythm guitar, and rich vocal harmonies. Formed in 2023, the group was born from the musical connection between Mark Boer and Sabrina (Bri) Huot, who came together to weld their talents for the sake of the song. Together, they create a distinct sonic tapestry rooted in folk, old-time, and country music.

John Hewitt Trio

John Hewitt is often considered the hardest working musician in Alberta. From festivals to folk clubs, songwriter rounds and theatres and touring over 150 dates per year on top of being a record producer, a booking agent and a producer of live shows. His influences come from a noble list of songwriters from the cannons of history. John is a painter of Sound and takes melodies that could be ancient colours and turns into modern memories.

Asiah Holm
Saturday July 26

Asiah Holm is a Cree First Nations artist residing on Treaty 6 territory. Her work spans multiple modalities, including acting, singing, composition, writing, and producing. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Asiah came into the world with an undeniable passion for performance and a keen ear for music. Her childhood years were filled with choir, piano lessons, drama classes, and endless creative projects.

Sticks and Stones

Sticks and Stone is a percussion trio based on marimba-band concept which has been bringing music to the streets, concert halls, schools, birthday parties, and celebration events of the Edmonton area since 2017. Their 2020 debut album Marimba Around the World mixed folk music from 15 countries with pop, rock and jazz. They most widely connect with audiences by playing covers of music they might recognize, including Disney and video-game. Through the rosewood warmth of the marimba, they share a joyful experience with audiences, frequently including humorous antics.

The Threads

Rooted in the landscapes of Alberta, The Threads craft melodic, emotionally resonant songs shaped by Canadiana, indie rock, and folk traditions. With honest lyrics and a seasoned live presence, they’ve become a distinctive voice in Edmonton’s music scene.

Halfway Home

After a summer of discussion, Elliott decided to make the move out to Edmonton to join forces with Penner in what has become Halfway Home, a folk duo influenced by the likes of Adrianne Lenker, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Watchhouse. Their songs explore the concept of home and what it means to them as new roommates and duo partners. With years of solo careers under their belts, a blend of spellbinding harmonies, and blissful acoustic guitar sounds to vouch, Halfway Home is bound to leave listeners tapping their toes and humming along.

Trevor Howlett and The Cruz Bros.

Trevor Howlett & The Cruz Bros. are an Edmonton-based rock trio blending a wide range of influences into a dynamic live experience. Fronted by Cape Breton singer-songwriter Trevor Howlett, the band features Red Deer-raised brothers Tristan and Patrick Cruz on drums and bass, bringing their unique energy and memorable grooves. The trio’s sound is amplified by the Cruz Bros.' rhythmic energy, creating a versatile setlist that spans from intimate acoustic shows to high-energy rock performances.
